Natural Clays as Potential Amino Acids Carriers for Animal Nutrition Application

چکیده

This study has the main purpose of testing natural carriers as more sustainable alternatives to polymeric coating. New clay-based hybrid organic–inorganic materials have been prepared. An innovative procedure for intercalation bioactive molecule is proposed. The synthesis process implies use mild operating conditions and does not require organic reactants or solvents. Moreover, carriers, milder environmentally friendly conditions, fulfill requirement a mostly safe, greener production. capture release properties final material mainly depend on carrier morphology. Large zeolite content in mineral clays can favor very large methionine loadings, but due trapping mechanism, typical these structures, zeolites prevent satisfactory condition physiological condition. Freundlich adsorption model found be able predict behavior. Once proper selected, preparation guarantees protection amino acid right form. Neither structure inorganic matrix nor was changed process. Methionine detected its zwitterionic form, showing IR bands only slightly affected by interaction. Further studies bioaccessibility intestinal absorption from methionine–Adsorbene (MET–ADS) are required optimize application clay in-field animal nutrition.

Parenteral Nutrition: Amino Acids

There is growing interest in nutrition therapies that deliver a generous amount of protein, but not a toxic amount of energy, to protein-catabolic critically ill patients. Parenteral amino acids can achieve this goal. This article summarizes the biochemical and nutritional principles that guide parenteral amino acid therapy, explains how parenteral amino acid solutions are formulated, and compa...

pared to all other ST intercepts. Seven ST were not different (P>.05) from the median intercept with an average geometric intercept (GI) of 0.20 (AZ, CA, KA, MN, OR, PA, WA). Three ST had a higher average GI of 1.00 (UT, ID, NE), two ST had a lower GI of 0.95 (IL, NY) and two ST had the lowest GI of 3.08. Average GI weighted for the observations in each group was -.19. The slope of ADF versus N...

Split-gender feeding in the grow-finish period was an innovative technology of the last decade. However, due to various weaning strategies, it has not been adequately evaluated in the nursery. The objectives of our research were to determine (1) if gilts and barrows responded similarly to increased protein (lysine) after weaning and (2) if the current NRC lysine estimated requirements are adequ...
